Welcome to Rosehill Imports our goal is to bring foundation type golden retrievers to
the American family, we will strive to improve the breed through health testing and careful selection of our breeding dogs,we
know what we look for in a companion dog and found that increasingly difficult to find and hope we can share our love of the
breed by producing a few select breedings as quality is more important than quantity ,we carefully imprint the puppies with
human love and attention from birth on to starting crate training before they leave for their new homes.We have a passion
and a past in dog ownership that is long and diverse, My first encounter with the English Golden Retriever was
on holiday in Scotland I was attending the Royal Highland Livestock Exhibition and Horse Show in Edinburgh , Scotland ,I happen
to see a girl and her gorgeous canine, and asked her what breed it was ,to my surprise she replied Golden Retriever! The temperaments of
English golden retrievers are remarkable...soft and calm they are very trainable and in my opinion make the perfect
family dog. Our Whole family was involved in our first Visit to Wales in
the summer of 2007 we travelled to Newport Gwent to visit and hand pick our Welsh home raised Golden Retriever puppies,
they were perfection the Wright family, and their family raised Welsh Golden Retriever Molly provided the perfect puppies
for our program.
Later that fall I found a gorgeous Irish family raised golden
retriever bred by a second generation Irish hobby breeder,Mr. Carey and his family were wonderful in providing information
about ancestry and provided wonderful pictures of the three generations. Dev made his arrival on Air Lingus from
Cork Ireland in October 2007.
